I love iced cookies! Their cute designs makes them fun to eat. So I was really excited to eat these Hello Kitty cookies!
The cookie set came in a decorated box, each cookie individually wrapped in plastic with the ingredients listed on the back of each cookie. Unfortunately to get the nutritional facts, you have to call. This was the same for the huge Hello Kitty cookie I bought.
I got these at the Hello Kitty Cafe Milwaukee Pop Up. You can check the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck website for more ino!
The cookies tasted like other iced sugar cookies but there’s a stronger taste of milk to these than others I’ve had. They were crunchy because of the icing but the actual cookie was soft, like a butter cookie. These were sweet but not too sweet.
As usual, dyed icing has it’s own particular taste; the darker the color the more bitter the taste (ex. black & red/pink icing). However, it didn’t affect the flavor of the cookies except for the one with sprinkles. The sprinkles tasted a bit chalky.
the big hello kitty cookie
The big Hello Kitty cookie was big! It tasted just as the other cookies did; no surprise there. I would say it was about 6in (15cm) wide and 8in (20cm) tall.
All the cookies had the exact same ingredients list.
- The 3 cookie set: $12
- The giant cookie: $12
Would I buy it again? Maybe.
I buy these again if there were new designs would. However to me, $12 is a lot for the cookie set ($4 ea. cookie). You’re basically paying for the Hello Kitty design.
