Review: I Found LOTTE Koala’s March Mango Flavored Cookies!

I make a pitstop at Mo’s Food Market and as I’m checking out, I spot LOTTE Koala’s March Mango flavored cookies! ( ´ ∀ `)ノ~ ♡

It was an accidental find! I was ready to check out when I saw it on a shelf calling out to me. I had to get them!

About LOTTE Koala’s March

For some reason I always thought that LOTTE Koala’s March cookies were Korean. Turns out they’re a product made in Thailand. Perhaps it’s because I’ve seen some of the koala’s printed on the biscuits wearing hanbok (traditional Korean clothes).

What’s interesting is that LOTTE is a huge Korean brand, created by a Korean in Tokyo in 1948. Talk about different cultures!

I don’t normally compare products but for this I felt like sharing. Compared to Meiji Hello Panda (Japanese filled biscuit cookies) I prefer LOTTE Koala’s March best. The reason for that is, the printing is amazing. It’s clear and well done! I don’t remember the last time I bought Hello Panda and actually got pretty cookies. Every time I buy them, the print is blurry, messed up or missing all together.

I also love the variety of designs. It’s an odd coincidence to find the same design on a koala in the same packet; at least, this has been my experience! (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

Mo’s Food Market is a hidden gem in Milwaukee. Many miss it because it doesn’t look like a store. There’s a wide selection of products and not just Asian but you can find a few African items too.

This cost me $5USD.

This is a family pack with 10 individual packets. Each packet brings 10 cookies.

I normally prefer single packets when I buy things to taste but they only had family packs. Nearly 100 mini biscuit cookies isn’t bad for $5USD.

When I bought these I was so excited because I never had the mango flavor ones. Seeing that they’re artificially flavored I was worried I wouldn’t like them but they taste very creamy and like tropical punch. The smell and the first taste is a lot like mango but as I ate on, it tasted more like tropical punch to me.

Meet the koalas: Message Cards

Something for the kids to exchange or send to their friends!

Instead of being told where to find what kind of koala this was upon opening the box, I think giving 2 message cards would’ve been better.

You can meet all the koala’s on the LOTTE Koala’s March website!

Save the koala Australian Foundation

I found the website and logo on the box. After a little digging online, I found that a portion of the sales goes to the foundation.

You can find out more from!

Would I buy these again? Definitely.

I thought these LOTTE Koala’s March Mango flavor were delicious and cute. The quality is worth the price and the family pack is great for snacking or desserts for a kid’s lunch box. After I opened the box I actually ate 4 packets within 2 hours; they’re just an easy snack to munch on. (o^-^)o
