I Try The NEW Non Dairy Chobani Oat Peppermint Mocha Creamer!

I had to try the Chobani Oat Peppermint Mocha Creamer. °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖° It just recently that it’s common to find a variety of flavors have been introduced as non dairy.

I found this coffee creamer at Woodman’s. They had both this non dairy option and the regular option.

Check out the Chobani website and search for their products near you!

Cost

This cost me $3.99USD plus taxes.

Keep an eye out for those “$1USD Discount” tags! °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰ ◝ ) I was very happy to find them and bought 2 instead of 1 because of the savings!

My expectations were pretty high for this Chobani Oat Peppermint Mocha creamer.╰(▔∀▔)╯ Not only was it non dairy but after I tried their non dairy pumpkin spice creamer, I was hoping every new flavored product would impress me the same way.

Taste

Let me start with how it tastes on it’s own. The Chobani Oat Peppermint Mocha creamer tastes like cocoa with peppermint. I actually enjoyed it better straight.

Now adding it to a drink was the not so great a result. I assumed it would be good just like the pumpkin spice creamer but this creamer isn’t as sweet or as strong in flavor. I initially added the creamer to ounces (milliliters) of plain non dairy milk and the flavor was very mild. I then tried it with my buttermint tea hoping that the mint in the tea would enhance the flavor but it did very little. It wasn’t until I tried the creamer by itself that I got a good taste of the flavor.

I would suggest maybe adding a little extra of this creamer if you want to get enough of the flavor in your drink and/or maybe use it with something more compatible like hot chocolate.

Nutritional Facts

Like their pumpkin spice creamer, the Chobani Oat Peppermint Mocha creamer also has a serving size of 1 tablespoon (15ml). That means there’s 4 grams of sugar in every tablespoon (15ml) you use.

Ingredients

You can see that no artificial flavoring was used. It specifically says they used peppermint oil. I was impressed that they used Dutch cocoa. They could’ve used any kind of chocolate and called it mocha.

Would I buy this again? Not likely.

I just felt it was a little lacking. I’d probably buy Chobani Oat Peppermint Mocha Chocolate milk instead of creamer. While I could keep drinking the creamer straight, it’s still very high in sugar and drinking it by itself probably isn’t too healthy. I might give it a go and try to find the perfect ratio of milk and creamer to create peppermint chocolate milk or hot cocoa.
