Review: New Reese’s Snack Bar!

Review: New Reese’s Snack Bar!

When I got the Reese’s Snack Cake, I also bought the Reese’s Snack Bar!

I wasn’t too excited for the Reese’s Snack Bar. (¬_¬;) They looked like the breakfast bars, Reese’s Puff Treats. I’ve also had peanut butter granola bars before so I didn’t think these were going to taste in any way special.

Product Details

I was happy with this snack bar. ٩(◕‿◕。)۶ I expected a boring peanut butter flavored, breakfast cereal type bar and was pleasantly surprised to find that the peanut butter flavor comes from actual peanut bits. Of course, there’s still the peanut butter creme but real peanuts always makes peanut butter taste, well whole like peanuts, as it should.

I was happy with the minimal amount of chocolate as well. It’s enough to taste but little enough that it doesn’t overpower the peanut butter flavor. The bar is a bit denser than I thought it would be, which can be a good or bad thing depending on who you are. To me, the chewer and softer the snack bar, the more butter is used which isn’t necessarily a good thing in terms of flavor and texture. This snack bar is chewy but also doesn’t fall apart.

I got these at Metro Market.

Would I buy the Reese’s Snack Bar again?

Answer: Yes.

Worth Trying?: More than once.

I loved these! (*˘︶˘*).。.:*♡ The peanut taste was perfect and I’m happy that they didn’t cover the whole thing in chocolate because it would’ve been unnecessary. There’s enough chocolate on the bar to satisfy the peanut butter and chocolate image Reese’s is known for.
