Out of the three deities, this is my favorite one. From what I read on China Simplified, my guess is that this is the “the Door God” 门神 (MénShén).
This is the second figure out of the set. After a searching the internet I found on China Simplified that this figure might be the “the Kitchen God” 灶君 (ZàoJūn).
Out of the ZHE GAO New Year Figures set, this is the first one. I did a quick search online and discovered that this figure is of “the god of wealth” 财神 (CáiShén).
Kicking off the new year, I decided to make a new section on my blog about my block collections. My first post is about the new ZHE GAO New Year’s Figures.
While in Hong Kong, I made some local friends who took me and a couple of other travelers to Lam Tsuen Wishing Square; also known as Lan Tsuen Wishing Trees (林村許願樹).
I found some cute little bear cakes during Chinese New Years in Hong Kong at a bakery called BreadTalk. Check out how cute they are!
